With deer farming becoming one of the fastest growing industries in rural America, more and more farmers, landowners, outdoorsmen, and wildlife enthusiasts are interested in becoming deer farmers. The Deer Farm Start Up Program was created to help establish and assist these new deer breeders from across the country. This unique program caters those that own enough acreage to start a deer farm, but are challenged with having enough startup capital and “know how” to purchase quality deer to start their operation.

If qualified for this program, new deer farmers are responsible for constructing pens as well as feed, water, and daily care of all animals. New deer farmers admitted to this program will receive consultation services as well as, at the end of the program, delivery of a breeder buck to help build a solid foundation for their deer farm.

This program requires a five-year commitment from new deer farmers. It guarantees an income stream during this time for the new deer farmer and assists the new deer farmer establish a productive deer herd.
